Alongside our well-established year-long Certificate in Coaching Leadership (CCL) we’re now launching two new intensives on Instructional Coaching and PD Leadership. Our new training offer provides a fantastic opportunity to grow your expertise through high impact in-person training with the Steplab team.

Available Spring/Summer 2025 across a range of UK cities, these one-day courses are run by our expert team of Coaching Development Leads, all former school leaders who have led impactful PD programmes themselves.

Which course is for you?

Both existing users and those new to Steplab - including those due to join our community following these events - are welcome to book on to one or both intensive training days and/or our year-long Certificate in Coaching Leadership.

How much does it cost?

Our intensive training days are only £155 (+VAT) per delegate. If you’d like to complete the two intensives on consecutive days, please ensure you navigate to the discounted two-day package on Ticket Tailor to save over 10%.

For schools using Steplab, our year-long CCL is only £995 (+VAT) per delegate for a year's learning. Exclusive discounts are available as part of trust partnerships or for multiple delegates from one organisation. There are a very limited number of places available for non-partner schools for £1,195 (+ VAT) per delegate. This fee includes licences for four users so you can engage with the course on the Steplab platform.

  If you choose to take part in our follow-up Coaching Skills Builder Programme, you'll be supported to complete a series of quick and practical study modules, alongside cycles of observation and feedback, on Steplab. You'll also attend a live webinar to help embed the changes to your coaching practice

Looking for expert guidance in leading impactful PD at scale?

Our Implementation Roadmap together with in-depth, targeted training will show you the way, with a focus on combining group rehearsal, lesson drop-ins and instructional coaching.

  In this highly practical training day, you’ll dig into the theory of effective PD, engage with models, and script and rehearse training that you can take back and deliver in your school(s)

  As a Steplab user, you’ll have access to our Implementation Roadmap - a bespoke online course which will support you and your team to hone your leadership skills and run a PD programme that works in your context
• 3.
  We’ll also invite you to join two termly PD Leads Network Meetings, providing you with the opportunity to share the work you’re doing and troubleshoot with other PD leaders

Prefer a more sustained training option?

Designed by Harry Fletcher-Wood, our year-long CCL is a rigorous course that supports school and trust leaders to build a great coaching team and high-impact PD programme. Participants are immersed in high-quality curated learning experiences. You’ll see, hear, practise, discuss and master new learning, all whilst building a new network of fellow PD leaders.
