Introducing our Steplab Affiliates
News|24th March 2025

Director of Communities — Steplab
A team of expert school leaders on hand to support our partners' professional development programmes.
At Steplab, we recognise that great teachers change student lives and we want every teacher to have access to professional development that really works.
Steplab gives schools and trusts everything they need to deliver effective PD programmes - the tools, content, support and more! But as the number of schools and trusts benefitting from Steplab increases and as more of our users would like in-person training through Steplab Institute, we've recruited a team of Steplab Affiliates to support our community of schools.
Our Affiliates are all highly skilled existing school and trust leaders, with a strong track record of running effective and impactful coaching and PD programmes. They also work across all phases at both school and trust level and have been recruited from all four corners of England. Most importantly, they've got an incredible record of helping other schools and users get the most out of Steplab:
"I had a fairly good idea of what and how I wanted to implement Instructional Coaching in my setting, but by meeting with Millie, this plan has become more concrete and feels much more attainable."
"Elliot was a great facilitator and presenter! I feel excited about the prospect of rolling out Steplab and instructional coaching."
Our Affiliates will be co-facilitating our intensive training days, alongside members of the Steplab team, and providing 1:1 implementation support to school and trust leaders aligned with our Implementation Roadmap.
So, let's meet them!
